Artists
A list of the ninety-six artists, designers, and architects who have created commemorative works that are included in Contemporary Monuments to the Slave Past. Two poets are recognized as their poetry is integral to the design of the memorials. This is an ongoing documentation project and names will be added here as we update the Omeka site. Note: Although essential to the building of commemorative works/sites, this list does not include the names of landscape architects, engineers, or architectural firms.
