Description

The bronze portrait sculpture of Harriet Tubman rests on a large rectangular plinth made of brick and stone. Tubman, wearing her signature headscarf, is depicted seated on a wooden chair, holding a closed book in her hands as she gazes into the distance. She wears a scarf around her neck, long-sleeved shirt button-down shirt, a shawl, and a flowing skirt.
